The late DR. Landrum Shettles, a renowned expert on human sexuality, thought so! He wrote a best selling book called How To Choose The Sex Of Your Baby that outlines his simple, at home, gender predicting methods. You can find his book in the Amazon advertisements on this page.
The Shettles methods of baby gender prediction is based on the fact that it’s the man’s sperm (sorry ladies) that ultimately determines a baby’s sex at conception. A man’s sperm comes in two varieties, one of which carries the (xy) chromosome, and will result in a girl baby, and (yy) chromosome that will result in a boy baby. The woman’s egg carries only the (xx) chromosome and is therefore “all girl”.
The two sperm differ also in the fact that the “girl sperm” or the (xy) sperm is physically larger, slower, and much longer lived, or more robust that the (yy) or “boy sperm”.
So what does this mean in practical terms? Well, if a couple are having sex in the hope of conceiving a baby boy for instance, they should have sex in positions that allow the deepest penetration, as this will give the weaker, but faster “boy” sperm the best chance to win the race to the waiting egg. Conversely having sex to conceive and only using shallow penetration, gives the longer lived and stronger “girl” sperm a chance to outlive the “boy” sperm and succeed in fertilizing the egg, resulting in a baby girl.
One other variable to keep in mind is the mother-to-be’s bodily PH. By maintaining a more acidic PH the “girl” sperm (remember they’re tougher) can survive (to do the deed) while the “boy” sperm will likely die off before they can reach the egg. Maintain a more alkaline bodily PH the “boy” sperm is given the best chance of survive, resulting in the boy baby you need.
This is just a quick overview of the Shettles methods, just to give you an idea of the steps necessary to increase your chances of conceiving a baby of the gender of your choice.
If you are truly serious about baby gender selection you really need a guide, and the best one I’ve found available online is written by a mother, Rebecca Washburn, who desperately wanted a son to complete her family (she already had two little girls.) She looked at all the information online concerning baby gender prediction and condensed it into an easy to read and follow eBook called How To Pick Your Baby’s Gender. This eBook will give a concise, simple, step by step, at home instructions on how to tip the odds of having a baby of the gender of your choosing from a mere 50/50 chance to well over 90%! And with a no questions asked money back guarantee, I think it’s a no-brainier.
Well I hope you can follow in the footsteps of literally thousands of couples who with Rebecca’s guide in hand have been successful in conceiving a baby of their chosen gender to complete their families as well. If you’re reading this and you have been successful in having that little baby girl or boy you wanted (or not) please leave me a comment, and share your story with my other readers.
